How to add an eScript token to the app

***All features not currently available on all dispense systems. App customers must be updated to current version 5.13 to access e-Scripts***

 

MedAdvisor gives patients the ability to add eScript Tokens to their app and send the order to their favourite pharmacy.

 

There are 3 ways in which an eScript token can be added to the app:

• Add to app  
• Scan QR Code 
• Add token manually 

 

Add to app 

 

a) The doctor will send the eScript token. Click on the link in the message containing the token.

b) The MedAdvisor app will open and provide a preview of the token. Select Add to app 

c) Confirmation that the eScript token has been added will appear  

d) The medication and eScript token will now appear on the home screen

  

Please note

Customers using Android will need to select from the below when adding to app. 

 

 

Scan QR code 

 

a) On the home screen, select Add eScript token

b) Select Scan QR code 

c) Point the camera at the QR code. The camera will detect the QR code and an image of the QR code will appear on the screen

d) A preview of the eScript token will appear in the app. Select Add to app 

e) Confirmation that the eScript token has been added will appear  

f) The medication and eScript token will now appear on the home screen

  

 

 

Add token manually 

 

a) On the home screen, select Add eScript token

b) Select Add token manually 

c) Enter the eScript token, then select Add

Please note: If the incorrect code is entered or the token is invalid, an error message saying eScript token is invalid will appear

d) A preview of the eScript token will appear in the app. Select Add to app 

e) Confirmation that the eScript token has been added will appear  

e) The medication and eScript token will now appear on the app home screen
