Please do not follow the instruction in these guides unless you are part of the BETA testing and instructed by MedAdvisor staff.
To set up your Bookings Calendar in MedAdvisor for Pharmacy, you will need to complete the set-up wizard. Please follow these steps:
- Select Setup online bookings in the bottom left-hand corner of MedAdvisor for Pharmacy
Please note: You must complete the set up before your old booking calendar/s are discontinued. You will see the amount of days left to complete your set up.
- Under Bookings and calendar setup, select your booking option e.g Use MedAdvisor for Pharmacy for online bookings (recommended) and select Continue
- Step 1 - Set up your current locations. Select the dropdown next to each of your existing calendars to name. You may select from the following options:
- Location (recommended)
- Service (recommended)
- Other
Please note: MedAdvisor will suggest which option should be selected under the We Suggest heading
- Location - Select Confirm or select Dismiss calendar to set up the location at a later time.
OR
- Service - Enter details (including and select Confirm
- Step 2 - Add new or edit your locations
Your existing calendar locations will be visible. Select Add a location to create a new calendar/resource (as required)
- Select Continue
- Step 3 - Add services to your locations
Your locations will be visible with the current services that are assigned to each location. Update these services by selecting or deselecting each service.
- Select Save and continue
- Step 4 - Add staff members to your services
The updated calendar allows you to assign specific staff members to each service. You must have at least one staff member. Select Add a staff member

Please note: Services without a staff member cannot be booked
- Enter the Staff name
- Select Availability range
- Add any public holidays by selecting Holiday/ Away and adding the dates the staff member is not available
- Add/update when the staff member is available to perform services
- Add any breaks by selecting the + icon
- Select which services the staff member can perform e.g Flu Vaccinations
- Select Save
- Select Add another staff member and repeat the above actions in Step 4 for each staff member.
- Select Save and continue
- Step 5 - Review bookable services in your pharmacy
Review the service names, locations and performing staff who are available for each service and location
Please note: For bookings to be available, each service must have a location and a staff member assigned.
- Select Publish your online bookings
