SMS Settings - Automatically sign up new medications for SMS reminders (for existing SMS patients)

Medadvisor for Pharmacy will automatically add new medications as SMS reminders for patients who are already signed up for SMS reminders. This feature is turned on by default but can be changed. 

Please note: If a medication is already on a patients profile it will not be selected. Newly dispensed medications with repeats will be automatically selected, excluding PRN drugs.

Medications will NOT be automically de-selected in any scenario and must be manually unticked if this feature is enabled. 

To update this setting, please follow these steps: 

 

• Select Settings in the top right-hand corner of MedAdvisor for Pharmacy and select SMS options

 

• Scroll down to Automatically sign up new medications for SMS reminders (for existing SMS patients. This setting is ticked ON by default and can be changed.

 

• Select Save, if you made any changes.
