How to use AI Assist (powered by Heidi) to record and transcribe patient services

Medadvisor for Pharmacy's AI Assist feature, powered by Heidi, allows pharmacists to record and transcribe while recording patient consultation services. This feature is available in the following forms: 

1. Patient Consult
   
2. MedsCheck
   
3. Diabetes MedsCheck 
   
4. Certificate for leave
   

Please note: Medadvisor is currently BETA testing this feature with select pharmacies. 

Please follow these steps: 

1. Select Patients in the menu
   

1. Search for the patient or select from the recently dispensed list or select + Add Patient 
   

1. Select Record Service
   

1. Review the patient information including consultation history, eligible services and medication list
   

1. Select the service you would like to record e.g MedsCheck (or one of the services listed above)
   

1. Select AI Assist
   

1. The Heidi - Set up your Heidi widget pop-up will appear. Select Continue in a new window to sign in to your account (or select Sign up) 
   

Please note: You do not have to repeat this step every time. You will remain signed in after logging in. 

1. Enter your email address and select Sign in. Once your account is verified after entering your password, select Continue to complete the set up. 
   

IMPORTANT: You must inform the patient you will be using AI Assist, powered by Heidi, and gain their consent to record / transcribe consultations. We recommend the following: 

“I use an AI scribe so we get really clear, detailed notes for you, so we can provide you best care today. Do you consent to that?”

Once the patient consents, proceed to the next step. 

1. The AI Assist widget, powered by Heidi, will appear in your Medadvisor for Pharmacy software. Select Start Visit to start transcribing
   

Please note: You must have an internal microphone or compatible external microphone connected to your computer/device to transcribe. 

1. To pause or stop the transcription, select the Pause icon or select End Session by moving your mouse cursor over the timer
   

Please note: You can select Resume to continue transcribing the session if required. 

1. Select a template to generate the summary

1. Enter the patients name or select from the suggested list (optional)
   

1. Review your notes/summary before use to ensure it accurately represents the visit and select Push note to populate the Clinical notes summary section in the Medadvisor form
   

Please note: If Push note is not available on the page or form you are using you will receive the following notification - Push notes isn't available on this page. To save your notes, copy them using the copy icon and paste them into your preferred form or document.

To access additional features from Heidi Scribe including a full history of your sessions, select the three dots in the top-right corner of the Heidi widget and select Open full version. 

1. Complete all required fields in the form and select Save or Complete
