Health Services Hub - Quick Prints invite
The quick print feature will assist you in signing up patients to the MedAdvisor app who have been issued a script with a repeat. This is done by printing a sign-up invitation which will include a unique activation code so the patient can complete the sign-up process themselves and can be included with the patients dispensed medication or discussed with the patient in pharmacy.
Important: Stores who decide they do not want automatic printing can switch to manual print. This article contains both processes.
The feature will support the pharmacy to invite customers to sign up to MedAdvisor. To allow you to save time in the sign up process, an invitation will automatically print to a selected printer. This is an alternate sign-up pathway which is supplementary to instant sign-up, patient prompted activation code and remote sign-up.
The sign-up invitation includes your pharmacy information, the benefits of the MedAdvisor app, and a guide on how to sign up, including a QR codes that can be scanned to download the app as well as an activation code for the patient to enter into the app once downloaded.
Important:
- Please note that the activation code expires in 10 days.
- Patients must have a Medicare or DVA number
- Patient does not have a MedAdvisor account
On dispensing to an eligible customer
STEP 1: Click on the pop-up notification and select the appropriate printer. The sign-up invitation will then print to your nominated printer.
STEP 2: Once you have selected your printer, pop-up notifications will alert you that an invitation has been printed.
STEP 3: Collect the invitation and provide it to the customer with their dispensed medications.
To locate the Auto Print - Quick Print feature
1. In the left-hand menu, select Health Services Hub.
2. Select the MedAdvisor Quick Print Invites tile, this will allow you to view eligible customers.
Click on the blue 'Blooms' header.
Make sure the service status is set to ENABLED and you have POP-UP NOTIFICATION (top right) enabled also.
Once enabled, you have two options AUTO PRINT and MANUAL PRINT
AUTO PRINT
1. The Auto print feature is enabled by default and will tell PlusOne to auto print the sign-up invitation every time you dispense to an eligible patient.
2. MANAGE PRINTER Under Print Settings, select Manage Printer.
3. You will be directed to a printer dialogue box, you can select which printer you would like to choose as your default and alter any properties. For example, changing to black and white instead of colour printing. Select OK. The selected settings are saved to the local database.
NOTE Settings are configured per workstation.
4. On dispensing to an eligible customer, you will see a pop-up notifying you to hand the invitation to the patient from the printer.
MANUAL PRINT
You can also choose to manually print the sign-up invitation, to change to manual print follow the steps below:
1. Deselect Automatic Print in the Print Settings, leaving the service status and pop-up notification as enabled means PlusOne will give you a pop-up notification each time you dispense a medication that is part of the program.
2. MANAGE PRINTER Under Print Settings, select Manage Printer.
3. You will be directed to a printer dialogue box, you can select which printer you would like to choose as your default and alter any properties. For example, changing to black and white instead of colour printing. Next select OK. Clicking these are selected they are saved to the local database. Settings are configured per workstation.
4. On dispensing to an eligible customer, you will see a pop-up notifying you to PRINT NOW. Select PRINT NOW on the pop up to print the sign-up invitation and hand it to the customer.
Clicking this button opens the print dialogue and when these are selected they are saved to the local database. Settings are configured per workstation.
The invitation prints to the designated printer.
Settings can be changed in HSH if required. Stores can do the initial set-up in the HSH if they choose to.
NOTIFICATIONS
On your PlusOne MAIN, select Settings in the left-hand menu to manage your pop-ups.
Click the Notifications tab and edit the settings to your preference.
You can change the location of the sign up pop-up here and we recommend displaying the sign-up prompt for at least 20 seconds so you don't miss it.
Select APPLY to save any changes.
Important: You should continue your usual process for engaging and signing up all other customers. The print functionality will only be available for customers who meet the eligibility criteria for this program.
