Applies to: PlusOne Health Services Hub - Brilinta Program
The Brilinta® Program was developed to provide additional support and helpful information within the pharmacy setting to patients on Brilinta®, focusing on medication adherence to help achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Payment: $15 for each patient signed up to the MedAdvisor app
Patient Eligibility: A patient prescribed and dispensed Brilinta, a patient who has been taking Brilinta for less than < or equal to 4 months, a patient with a dispense within the last 4 months AND excludes patients who have had a dispense history of greater than 4 months, and who are not signed up to the MedAdvisor app.
Steps:
- Click on the link in the pop-up to take them to the Sign Up Customers screen in PlusOne, or click on 'Sign Up Customers' in the left-hand menu of PlusOne and type in the customer's name.
- Note: The pharmacy is required to provide the patient with the program information sheet, which can be accessed via a link on the sign-up screen.
1. Pop Up Notification
A pop-up notification will automatically appear when a pharmacy dispenses Brilinta® to a patient not already registered for MedAdvisor. The box will be a incentivised sign up box which the pharmacy can click on and they will be directed to the sign up customer dialogue box.
The sign up dialogue box includes a field which displays a tick box with 'Brilinta Sign Up Consent' and a link for the pharmacy to download a patient information leaflet, which the pharmacy print and hand to the patient.
2. Patient Information Leaflet
The leaflet includes details on Brilinta and if the pharmacy sign up the patient to MedAdvisor, the patient will receive reminders and the Brilinta DAP.
The pharmacy are required to tick the box provided otherwise they will not receive the payment, if they forget to tick the box, a pop up message will appear prompting them to tick if they have provided the information.
When selected the pharmacy are required to print the information and hand to the patient.
The program is designed to encourage pharmacies to sign up patients to the app to receive the Brilinta DAP. Brilinta patients who sign up to MedAdvisor app will then have access to all the great features of the app, plus support and quality use of medicines information delivered via the Brilinta DAP.
2. Health Services Hub
The tile for the Brilinta program is located in the Health Services Hub, left hand menu in PlusOne.
The tile contains all of the information relating to the program and also directs the pharmacy to the Brilinta tile DAP on the right hand side. The Brilinta tile DAP is also located in 'Digital Adherence Programs' in Health Services Hub.
