Getting started with MedAdvisor Clinic Connect is easy. The following instructions help you to setup MedAdvisor Clinic Connect before you begin to install:
You will need
- To have admin right to access to the main network
- To unblock exe file in your firewall policy
- To be running Best Practice (1.8 or above) or Medical Director (3.17 or above)
- Windows 7 and above
- Chrome Browser or IE 11 and above
- Visual C++ Runtime 2013
- For Best Practice, please have your Best Practice Database Password at hand
NOTE (for Best Practice user):
Please note MedAdvisor Clinic Connect currently does not support importing of script requests into Best Practice 1.10 (Jade)
We are working to resolve this issue. In the meantime you can still use MedAdvisor Clinic Connect to view and print scripts, but importing will be disabled.
MACC installation is required to connect to Best Practice Database.
Please contact your administrator if you don't have admin right to install MedAdvisor Clinic Connect.
The following steps are to set a password in Best Practice Database:
Go to Best Practice > Setup > Configuration > Database > Passwords > Data browser as shown below
