Owing prescriptions (sometimes called faxed prescriptions) are those which are given to patients before the actual prescription is received by the pharmacy.
Depending on the way they are processed they can appear on MedAdvisor accounts in a number of ways.
These usually create script flow issues, which is beyond the scope of this brief.
The most common issue will arise where a pharmacy will call up saying a particular prescription is missing repeats.
MedAdvisor will pick up the first prescription (owing) with no repeats.
