Applies to : GP Link (MedAdvisor App)
GP Link is not designed to replace the important discussions that customers have with their regular doctor in person. Rather, GP Link has been designed to assist in our goal of helping customers improve their adherence to their medication.
With that goal in mind, GP Link is a bridging service to ensure customers can have a continued supply of your current medications.
This means that customers will only be able to request a new prescription of a medication that:
(a) they are currently taking;
(b) they have no current supply; and
(c) appears on the home screen of the customer's MedAdvisor account.
In addition, MedAdvisor has worked with a number of GPs and advisors to filter out certain medications that are considered inappropriate for this service. These include certain drugs of dependence and other medications which require an in-person consultation.
