Applies to : GP Link (MedAdvisor App)
To place an order in GP Link, customers first select More in their MedAdvisor App and then select GP Link. If it is their first-time using GP Link they will be prompted to add their card details. They will then be able to select the medications they wish to order. Once confirmed they will fill out a short list of questions to provide the doctor with the information necessary to decide if a script can be issued.
Once the doctor has reviewed the request, one of 3 things will happen. Either the doctor will:
(a) generate a prescription for the medication requested. Where this happens, the customers credit card will be charged the agreed fee immediately;
(b) contact the customer by telephone if they require any further information; or
(c) decline the request. Where the GP is unable to approve the request via GP Link, the customer will not be charged, they will be provided with the reason for their request being declined and they will be directed to see their regular doctor for an in-person consultation.
