Step 1: Apply for your eRx Registration Number
Step 2: Read email sent to you from MedAdvisor
Step 3: Request access to the Test environment
Please note: Follow these steps in order. Pharmacies who do not complete each step may see the software not work correctly.
Software set up
If you have received your QLD Health Pharmacist prescriber authorisation email follow these steps. If you have not received your QLD Health Pharmacist prescriber authorisation email do not continue because you do not yet have your pilot prescriber number.
Step 1: Software set-up - Apply for your eRx Registration Number
The mandatory pilot prescribing software will not generate a prescription unless you have an eRx registration number. Read the article and follow the links to complete this task.
Link: e-RX number registration
MedAdvisor is notified by eRx two business days after you have completed this step. We cannot provide you access to the software until this is completed. We will email you once we have received your eRx registration number.
Note: prescribing software is mandatory when prescribing to a patient. An eRx registration number is needed for this functionality. Do not delay completing this step.
Step 2: Read email sent to you from MedAdvisor with your eRx Registration Number to set up your software.
Instructions will be emailed to you on how to set up the software with your prescriber details including eRx Registration Number.

Please note: DO NOT go to Foxo directly to create an account. Your account will be created as part of the MedAdvisor onboarding process.
Step 3: Request access to the Test environment so you can use a dummy patient and generate a dummy prescription.
Because the pilot requires clean data generated from real occasions of service with patients, pharmacists cannot generate test cases with test prescriptions in the live, production software.
MedAdvisor offers pilot pharmacists a test environment to practice on. Please send an email requesting access to support@medadvisor.com.au
Do not create a test case using a staff member in the live, production software. This will be sent to Qld Health.
